We are accredited

Our mission is to help children develop the mindset of future innovators.

FLOW School offers project-based instruction with a focus on digital literacy and extended English language instruction. Our goal is to prepare your children for a rapidly changing world and a future full of unknowns.

Our Fundamental Pillars

Entering the world of FLOW is the beginning of a unique educational journey. Our admissions process is designed to be as accessible as possible while allowing us to get to know each child. Here's a rundown of what you can expect, and how you can become a part of our school.

Project-based teaching

Our teaching is based on project-based learning, where students solve real-world problems and challenges. Thus, they develop the ability to analyze situations, work in a team and present ideas. This approach promotes social and communication skills, prepares children for future careers and increases their motivation by making them active creators of their learning.

Extended teaching of AJ

Our extended English lessons are designed for all learners, regardless of their level of English. The program combines grammar and conversation to eliminate fear of speaking and encourage children to use English in all subjects and everyday life. The aim is to make English a natural language of communication for children. At certain stages of the educational journey, pupils receive a certificate from the Cambridge Centre attesting to their language skills. The programme is designed to support each learner in their individual language development.

Programming and Digital Literacy

As part of our curriculum, we place an emphasis on programming and digital literacy so that our children develop the skills necessary in the digital age from the first grade. We teach them how to create content, create digital products and services with the help of digital technologies. The goal is for children to become not just passive consumers, but to become active creators in the digital world, understanding the technologies around them and being able to use them creatively.

Psychological safety

At FLOW, we emphasize the psychological safety and overall well-being of children. We achieve this through project-based teaching, which is designed to promote individualization of learning and include different learning zones in classrooms. Our 90-minute learning blocks allow educators and children to fully immerse themselves in the project and the subject matter discussed, helping to deepen understanding and better involvement in the learning process. An important part of our team is a school psychologist who not only monitors the overall dynamics of the classroom, but also works individually with children to support their emotional and social development. Our school day begins with a morning circle, where children have the opportunity to express themselves about anything that bothers them or what they want to share, which helps them start the day with a positive attitude and a sense of belonging. This holistic approach to education is key to promoting good psychological health and overall well-being of our children.

Communication with parents

Another great emphasis in FLOW is on open and continuous communication with parents so that they are as informed as possible about what is happening at school and the progress of their children. For this purpose, we actively use the Edookit system, which allows us to share regular evaluations in key subjects on a monthly basis. In this way, we will ensure that parents have an overview of the academic development and achievements of their children. In addition, parents are informed in a timely manner about all extracurricular activities, excursions and excursions that the school organizes. At the beginning of each month, parents also receive a so-called monthly plan, which gives them a detailed overview of the upcoming project, its objectives, key competencies and content objectives within each subject. This proactive approach to parent outreach promotes transparency and builds a strong bond between school and family, which is critical to supporting the development and success of every child in FLOW.

Verbal assessment

At school, FLOW emphasizes verbal assessment in order to adapt the educational process as much as possible to the individual development of the pupils. Instead of traditional grading, we use a formative approach, which is essential for continuous learning and allows the identification of strengths and areas for improvement. This assessment takes place after each project, at half-term and at the end of the school year, providing pupils and teachers with an overview of progress and setting goals for future education. In addition, children have the opportunity for self-assessment, which promotes their self-reflection and self-management ability. To strengthen relationships between children, parents and educators, we organize tripartite meetings that provide space for open discussion about the educational process and personal development. These meetings are crucial to building a solid foundation of trust and support, which is essential for a successful learning process in FLOW.

Why FLOW?

Choosing FLOW as an educational institution means respecting the approach and supporting the uniqueness of each student. We believe that effective education is based on the individual needs, strengths and ambitions of each child. This translates into our way of teaching, where pupils are given the opportunity to grow in line with their personal goals and interests.

Ours curriculum is designed to reflect the demands of the current, ever-changing world. We offer a wide range of projects that not only provide hands-on experience, but also develop digital literacy — the essential skills needed for a successful future in the digital age.

Our students are driven to become not only consumers, but above all creators of digital content, enabling their creativity and innovative thinking to develop. At FLOW, learning doesn't just happen in traditional classrooms; our pupils learn in environments which is designed to promote collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and personal well-being.

This philosophy of education helps FLOW learners develop not only academic skills, but also social and emotional intelligence, which are key factors in achieving success in both personal and professional life.

The Director says

We need to be able to navigate new situations, to be able to think critically, to make decisions and to stand behind our actions, to accept responsibility for them. I discovered this approach in FLOW with its holistic approach to education and project-oriented teaching, which aims to prepare pupils for the life that the 21st century brings us. I like that FLOW incorporates meaningfulness, creativity, playfulness and especially joy into the educational process. FLOW is not afraid to implement education “differently”, to bring challenges. I also like to set them for myself, I have a constant need to move forward and motivate others to think the same way. I see FLOW as an opportunity for changing the approach to education and for my professional growth.

Testimonials

I enjoy people with vision a lot. More people who know how to fulfill that vision. And that's why I really enjoy watching Marv Shamma and his FLOW school. Today they have an open day at the school, which again looks a bit better than the last time I was here.

Our daughter attends Flow School, where she transferred from state school, and the difference is unmissable. Here she found herself again and every morning she goes to school with great enthusiasm! At Flow, we value their child-focused approach the most. They not only try to make children learn, but also try to create a safe and supportive environment for them. The daughter praises all the teachers whom she values and feels supported in them, as well as the interesting content of the curriculum. As parents, we appreciate that the school is striving to meet its goals that it set at the beginning, despite the various challenges associated with the newly started operation (the school only opened 7 months ago). Our daughter and I always look forward to the monthly demo day (where the kids show off what they've been working on over the past few weeks.) Varied afternoon classes (yoga, science, ceramics, speech therapy) are also an advantage. Overall, we are very satisfied with Flow School and we are glad that we chose it.

I wanted a school for my son that he would enjoy and that he would enjoy learning. And not only is he looking forward to school, but he often does not even want to go home from it - because the club is great too ☺️ I appreciate the individual approach to education - if something is not going well for my son, we look for a solution together (both with the teacher and other experts) how to explain the curriculum to him in a way that will be better and still fun for him. This allows us more time to devote to what he is good at!
